Australia’s Payment Future: innovation drivers for change – Technology, Consumer Pull and Regulation

At a recent CEDA Trustees boardroom briefing, APCA CEO Dr Leila Fourie spoke on Australia’s payment future and the innovation drivers at play.

Dr Fourie touched on a wide range of topics, from demonetisation to digital identity and blockchain. Framing her talk around three drivers; technology push, consumer pull and regulation, Leila provided insights into global trends as well as developments closer to home.
